The following Revelation was received by Paul Davies in Oct, 2010. As with all prophetic words, these must be weighed and tested with a spirit of humility and repentance. Where Bible passages are referred to, the interpretations given are not intended to be seen as the interpretation of the passage, but as God speaking to his people’s current situation by giving an interpretation.
The Lord told me recently He was about to “Hit the Afterburners”.
A military jet’s throttle operates on a certain range up to maximum, known as Full Military Power. After an indent, the pilot can push the throttle into afterburner, where raw fuel is injected directly into the Jet wash, massively re-heating the thrust and giving the aircraft a powerful “kick” of acceleration.
The Lord is about to inject the church with raw Holy Spirit Power, and we are going to experience a rapid acceleration in all areas, especially the speed of our advance.
Implicit here is the understanding that at Supersonic speeds, the effect of a pilot’s reaction is magnified immensely. The amount of force on the joystick needed to turn a plane at low speeds will have a much more violent impact, and the potential for disaster if the wrong decision is made is also greater.
In addition, a plane turns in a much wider arc as the speed increases, covering much more ground in the turn. Again, a wrong turn can quickly send you a long way off course, or into danger, simply because of the speed.
We need to be earnestly seeking His face in the prayer closet at this time, both in preparation (training) for what is coming, and in learning to hear more clearly so that we don’t react incorrectly or inappropriately – causing us to lose ground to the enemy and sending us off course.
The Lord has sent a clear message over recent weeks, gains made in the prayer closet in this season are permanent gains, but time is very short to prepare before we simply have to run with what we have. A teenage boy will have permanent changes made to his physique with Weight Training, as he has Growth Hormone buzzing around his system. After he finishes growing, gains are temporary, and disappear if training stops. The ONLY time to get permanent gains is during the growth season.

In recent weeks our family has seen a rapid advancement in many areas: prayers being fulfilled (some over a decade old and forgotten), doors opening, others closing and rapid change. There has been a noticeable increase in miracles at the Ancient Wells meetings in Adelaide, and rapid pre-positioning of Christians for the coming Move of God.
